Open for the first time in the summer of 2007, the resort features numerous toddler-safe beaches, (the clean 70-degree water is ankle deep to waste deep or chest deep in most places and moves at a lazy-river speed)) miles of riverside walking trails, squirt gun, air soft, and paintball forests, nearby ATC trails and much more. At Misty River there is no end to the fun activities for everyone at any age.
Facilities include restrooms and showers, an assortment of pavilions and group campsites, camping cabins, RV pull thrus, and tent sites, camp store, and gift shop, tube, kayak, and canoe rentals, fire pits, and piers, as well as trails going every direction through woods, and along the river.
